We
at APC strive for the Muisc that is presented during praise and worship part
of our service to be uplifting to the spirit and prepare the hearts of the
people to be ready to receive the Word of the Lord. We have a blend of
Traditional well known Hymns as well as some contemporary Praise and worship
songs included as well.
In a
nutshell the word would be that we have "well Balanced-blended
Praise and Worship”. We have
found that this works well with our congregation and also our
visitors each
week seem very at home with the format as well.
The adult choir sings for service, 8:30 am / 11:00 am,
from September through May. Each
service has either our Adult Choir/Hand bell group/ instrumental, and or
vocal ensemble as well who assist in the praise and worships segments of our
services. The choir takes a summer
break from June through mid-August. During the summer months, special
music is provided by our members and guests with both vocal and instrumental
arrangements at a combined 10:00 am service.

The Vocal Choir is an adult choir. They
sing or
participate at both Sunday services
(optional for members to sing at both services). Their voices are a great
pleasure to hear. All are welcomed to join this group for fun, singing and
sharing in the word of the Lord!

The
AvonBells, under the direction of Peggy Watkins, have been ringing for
joy since 1995. We have 3 octaves of handbells and 3 octaves of choir
chimes and are currently ringing intermediate level
music. There's room for you if you'd like to join us in this fun &
unique ministry. We rehearse one night a week during the school year
and perform in church as often as one Sunday a month. No ringing
experience is necessary, but a good sense of rhythm is always welcome.

Rehearsals will resume on Tuesday 4:30 - 5:30 on September 13th.
We practice
weekly and perform as often as possible during the school
year. The Joyful Rhythm bell choir is open to individuals in
4th grade & up. No former musical experience is necessary
to be a part of this ministry. You will learn how to "make
a joyful noise to the Lord"! We are an exuberant,
enthusiastic and talented beginner choir of various ages.
